Description vyho 2005-04-29 13:49:09 UTC
I have the Base already opened in many windows (several database opened). Then
create a new database, it will not remember my previous directory where I open
the file dialog (always go back to My Documents). By the way, this file dialog
has some non-english in the bottom.

clu->vyho: 1. not a bug but a feature enhancement (writer and the other
application work the same way by design) 2. the file save dialog came from your
operating system (not oo), so i guess that you use an non english operating
system -> no bug

thx

Thank you for the comment. With respect to 2, some how only OOo has these
non-english characters (and a check box). I tried couple other apps such as
notepad, and I don't see these things. The version I use is Windows Xp, with
regional setting point to English (United States). If you have any suggestion
or idea that I can do, please let me know. Thanks.

regarding 2: File a new issue and attach a screenshot. You can switch to OOo's
own file dialogs using Tools|Options -> OOo -> General
Comment 4 vyho 2005-05-04 01:12:37 UTC
The non-english name at the bottom file dialog problem is fixed with build 680m100.

MS Access shows in recent list also newly created databases. So in Base it
should work similarly ;-)

this is a RFE (request for enhancement), isn't it?
