Description erpel 2005-05-03 00:57:11 UTC
In Impress, "Slide" is translated to "Folie" in german. That's ok.

But in the toolbar "Präsentation", the button "Slide" is translated to "Seite".
This should also be changed to "Folie" to be consistent.
Comment 1 andreschnabel 2005-05-16 15:21:08 UTC
confirmed,

it's the same with Button "Seitenlayout" this should be changed to
"Foliendesign" (as the translation of the slides panel's context menue).

Comment 2 stefan.baltzer 2005-06-13 17:10:01 UTC

Thanks for the research. Valid defects that should be fixed in 2.0.1

So far this only affects German which will not trigger l10n, but possibly
documentation.
I'll also research whether English is incorrect too, just to be sure.

Comment 5 e.matthis 2005-06-24 14:03:25 UTC
due to amount of strings and docu, retargeting to 2.0.2
Comment 6 e.matthis 2005-07-08 13:24:35 UTC
It is much worse than erpel reported. The issue was mostly fixed for OOo 2.0,
but some were overlooked so they need to be fixed in a product update.

The fix applies to both English and German and affects the documentation and l10n.
(ccing UFI for this reason) Setting target to 2.0.2.

liz->AF:
Please separate and/or rename the following strings in Draw and Impress so that
they are Page/Seite in Draw, Slide/Folie in Impress:

Found in Impress...
Text next to icon (green plus sign and red arrow) on "Presentation" Toolbar:
     Page -> New Slide
     Seite -> Neue Folie
(The context submenu at "Folie" menu already has "Neue Folie")

Menu "Format":
     Page ->Slide
    Seite -> Folie

slide context menu item:
Page Setup... ---> Slide Setup...
Seite einrichten... -> Folie einrichten...
PRJ            sd
Filename       source\ui\app\menuids_tmpl.src
Build          SRC680
GID            MN_FORMAT_PAGE
LID            SID_PAGESETUP
Type           menuitem

Dialog title:
Page Setup ---> Slide Setup
Seite einrichten ---> Folie einrichten
PRJ            sd
Filename       source\ui\dlg\dlgpage.src
Build          SRC680
GID            TAB_PAGE
LID
Type           tabdialog

Menu "Edit":
     Delete Page -> Delete Slide
     Seite lschen -> Folie lschen

(Do not touch the "Seitenvorlage" strings, because I'll write a separate issue
about removing them altogether)
Comment 7 e.matthis 2005-07-08 13:25:37 UTC
setting cc for UFI to make changes in Help
Comment 8 Uwe Fischer 2005-07-08 13:54:40 UTC
I would advise to set the target to Later, because the UI will not be changed
earlier, see also issue #40813#
Comment 9 e.matthis 2005-07-08 14:04:03 UTC
Stop!

I've discovered that some corrections were already made based on another issue!

Trying to see which strings are currently not yet fixed...
Reassigning to myself
Comment 10 e.matthis 2005-07-08 14:29:50 UTC
OK, now I got it...

The fix applies to both English and German and affects the documentation and l10n.
(ccing UFI for this reason) Setting target to office later as UFi suggested.

ccing CJ to make these changes known and hope that noone else will write them up
a second time. Maybe MSC and AF can watch out for this too. :-)
See ya!

[OOO300m5 (Build9350)]", so ALL OS
Comment 14 thorsten.ziehm 2009-11-05 10:31:58 UTC
OOo 3.2 is in show-stopper mode. Does this issue still exists and/or is it
critical enough for a fix in OOo 3.2? If the answer is 'no', please re-target
this issue. If the answer is 'yes', please ask for a bugfix-CWS or another
possibility for OOo 3.2 localization bug fixing on the L10N list.
Comment 15 groucho266 2009-11-16 09:19:38 UTC
Hm, this is most strange. In my in-tray this issue is displayed as having
target OOo Later. There seems to be some sort of database problem.

Changing target to OOo 3.x.
Comment 16 Marcus 2017-05-20 11:13:17 UTC
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
