Description mogsie 2005-05-03 11:13:44 UTC
I get the following crash when opening a document. I compiled with debug
support, and opened the document in gdb; this is what I get:

gdb -e /opt/OpenOffice.org/program/soffice.bin
(gdb) run engine-5-studio-features.sxw

[... splash-screen and soffice-frame appears ...]
[... the bar at the bottom of the screen grows to 100% ...]

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 16384 (LWP 16818)]
0xb07bf25a in ?? () from /opt/OpenOffice.org/program/libsw645li.so

I'm no gdb-person, but it's readily reproducible... I can attach the file, too.

Here's the list of runing threads:
(gdb) info threads
  8 Thread 98310 (LWP 16830) 0xb6be671c in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6

Reassigned to ES.
Comment 3 lohmaier 2005-05-03 20:39:39 UTC
maxweber: Only set crash keyword if you can reproduce the crash. In this case
confirm the issue (set it to new).

confirming crash with OOo 1.1.4 (german version) on linux, sent crash-report.

No crash with OOo 1.9m98

ES->DVO: also reproduced in OOo 1.1.4 but not in src680m100. Due you want to fix
it for 1.1.5?
