Description jogi 2005-05-04 14:13:06 UTC
The special installation (aka "Userland") which is nice to be used under thin
client environment fails with the new Solaris 10 and the SRSS 3.1 (alpha).

Workaround: Install it into /tmp/{UID}/{PATH_OF_CHOICE} and move the installed
office at the place in $HOME where you want to have it.

cp->obr: that's the issue for the solaris 10 pkgadd stuff with the lock file in tmp.
Comment 2 nospam4obr 2005-06-16 14:40:51 UTC
Fixed in CWS nativefixer10.

obr @ jsi: please verify.

I haven't verified this issue in the CWS but the CWS has been integrated :-( The
Userland script does not work as I know it from m106 (last version I have
installed on s10 with a trick).

Sorry, my fault: /usr/bin/getopt seems to accept optional parameters at any
position in the command line, while the shell build-in getopts (which I use on
Solaris) does not.

Please try using install -l <source> <dest>. Announcement following shortly.
