Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 48860
crash while saving truncates original file
Last modified: 2005-05-07 16:51:02 UTC
crashing on saving, which happens almost on every save (how can i look for crash reasons?) truncates the document and all data is LOST recovery is not succesfull. this is reported on issue 47821 (http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=47821) this bug is certinally not fixed
version "current" is invalid. issue 47821 is not yet closed, this means that no build with the fix is available for download yet. You have to build OOo yourself to see the fix or wait until the issue gets closed and then download the most recent snapshot. Fixed means: programmer claims that he succeeded in fixing the issue in a child workspace verified means: someone from quality assurance checked the fix (that it works and that is doesn't break other things) within that child workspace. closed means: build that includes the fix is available to the reporter So until the issue gets closed, you have to checkout the sources of that cws (in this case "savewrap1") and build OOo yourself. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 47821 ***
closing duplicate. Never report issues in OOo with version "current".
