After installing the Spanish pack, if the apparence is changed to spanish, the 
spell check doesn't work any more, and Spanish language is not available any 
longer.

Install OOo 1.9.m100
Install Spanish package for 1.9.m100
repair OOo
change apparence to spanish
Spanish spell check doesn't work any longer and Spanish language is not 
available either.

Spellcheck does work, but not the proper way.

- Some correct words, even trivial like "de", are shown as not.
- It suggests diferent corrections for the same word (see image).

Sounds like I modified the dictionary while set to use UTF-8 which  
causes those strange chars.  I'm beginning to think that UTF-8 is  
sort of like the Imperial/Metric measuring mess --never to be  
resolved since everybody has a good reason to stay with what is  
working for them.  :-))    
At any rate, the dict is supposed to be in ISO-8859-1 which is still  
sort of weird, but such is life.   
 
At any rate, my apologies for the inconvenience.  
I'll post as soon as I get it properly converted and working correctly,  
again.

You are right Richard, I have downgraded to aprevious dictionary version and now
it works fine.
