hi this is where i will post the important documents and information regarding the planning and realization of the OOoCon05 in Koper (Capodistria), Slovenia. urska

hi i have just attached a file which contains the first part of the organization plans for the conference. the document is based on jacquelines checklist, but is not finished yet. the U1 ending applies to Urska (author) and the 1st version of the document. as soon as possible i will add a new document with the rest of the plans. this will make planning and organization more transparent. urska
the organization plan will also be edited through the wiki at: http://nathanvi.it/openoffice/index.php?page=ConferencePlan this version should be updated regularly. urska
attached some documents (the UX part of the name applies to urska as the author and the serial number of the document-for info only): 1. OOoCon220505-sponsorship-U2.sxw: invitation to potential sponsors as we will send it. 2. Organization-for-sponsors-U3.sxw: document containing parts of the organization plan to be presented to sponsors who wish to have a look at what we intend to do. some potential sponsors need such a document to have the funds approved. 3. OOoCon05.stw: a template that should be used for all future documents regarding OOoCon05. i would appreciate comments on all three docs. urska

the last invitation to sponsors has some minor corrections, like 30 mio downloads -> 42 mio downloads urska
added self and confsponsor to cc list
removing confsponsor to avoid that we receive each notification twice.

Attachment 29190 [details] is a low res version of an idea for a conf Banner. The banner is designed to be easy to create and to be disposable and is based on Urskas Conf Logo surrounded by flags representing each of the NLPs The full size version is made up of 28 A4 size png images that go together to make a banner 2.1 metres wide by about 1.5 metres high. Anyone with a colour printer, some good quality card, a sharp knife, some double sided adhesive tape and a bit of flair for Jigsaw Puzzles can put it together. It actually has more impact on a dark blue background with the images deliberately out of line. I have the 28 images in a zip file which is 3.5 meg. I'll upload it tonigh, I'm on dialup. The source is psd and about 13 megs. If anyone wants it I'll p2p them. Cheers Yo

I attached two ODT files with name cards for the conference. The first one ("name_cards_old_logo.odt") contains the OOoCon-logo you can see at the upper left corner of each OOo website, the other ("name_cards_new_logo.odt") contains Urska's logo from this issue ("OOC.jpg"). I don'T know. which one will be the official one. The files can be used as form letters with a DB containing the following fields: - First Name - Last Name - Position (for Leads, Co-Leads, MarCons, or "project member" - if you want) - Country If you want anything else, just ask - or change the template by your own. I attached the new name cards (as Robert told me, with the "original" OOoCon logo) in SXW and ODT format. Both espect a database called "OOoCon_2005" with four fields: "First Name", "Second Name" (it should be Last Name, but I didn't change it anymore), "Role" and "Country". 10 different records will be printed on one page (A 4) I hope, it will work.
