Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49608
empty emph tags
Last modified: 2021-05-14 09:08:09 UTC
Hi, do we have some script for checking the consistency of help? Can you add checking for empty emph there? Our translators keep reporting them as errors (with P5, yes): pavel@pavel:~/.ooo/ooo_SRC680_m104s1_src/helpcontent2> grep -r "<emph> </emph>" * source/text/shared/02/12030000.xhp: <paragraph l10n="U" xml-lang="en-US" oldref="6" role="paragraph" id="par_id3153577">You can remove the current AutoFilter with the<emph> </emph><link href="text/shared/02/12040000.xhp" name="Remove Filter/Sorting"><emph>Remove Filter/Sorting</emph></link> icon or with <emph>Data - Filter - Remove Filter</emph>.</paragraph> source/text/shared/02/20030000.xhp: <paragraph xml-lang="en-US" oldref="3" role="paragraph" id="par_id3150935" l10n="U">Double-clicking this<emph> </emph>field opens the <link href="text/shared/01/03010000.xhp" name="Zoom">Zoom</link> dialog, where you can change the current zoom factor.</paragraph> source/text/simpress/01/01180001.xhp: <paragraph xml-lang="en-US" oldref="18" id="par_id3149018" l10n="U" role="paragraph">Select a paper format supported by your printer. I take that one. We probably need to tweak our OOo export filter. OOo sometimes handles spans in a very uhm creative way.
Searching for /<emph>\s*<\/emph>/ in the help results in 3 occurrences only
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
(In reply to frank.thomas.peters from comment #2) > Searching for /<emph>\s*<\/emph>/ in the help results in 3 occurrences only A search with the term given above does not give any results with the current code in trunk. So this seems to be fixed now.
