As a result of conversations about {star/open}office, I decided I ought to find out how one files issues here. I discovered that I had to create an
account with y'all. When I did this, and then logged in, I was taken to my "personal home page" on your site. And this was full of the assumption that
I'm somehow part of the development process for openoffice.

If you intend to really become a big competitor to MS Office (which I assume and hope you do intend), I think you need to make it a little easier for
non-developers to contribute. For example, ideally you should have some avenue for ordinary folks to submit issues without going through the hassle
of creating an account. And, if you are going to insist that they have an account, I think you need to have a "casual end user" account type in addition
to a "developer" account type.

Put another way, if you succeed, the *vast majority* of your users are going to be end-users, not developers. You should have some very obvious and
very straightforward way for those casual users to contribute.
