cp->hdu: you ?
I'll look into it.
.
HDU->HDU reminder: Luxi Sans on the system doesn't seem to be printable/subsettable/embeddable so KochiMincho and OpenSymbol come to the rescue...
I don't understand the scenario yet. If Luxi Sans isn't printable then a fallback font would have been choosen but I only see glyph fallback fonts in the psprint output. HDU->CMC: Could you attach the pspfontcache file and the PDF exported for this document?
Cannot reproduce & needmoreinfo. HDU->US: can you reproduce the problem and if no please adjust the target.
reproducible on my fc3 box. debug output: FTSF::FTSF("/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1/n019003l.pfb", h=150, w=0, sy=0) => 1 OD:ImplLayout Glyph Fallback for U+0041 U+0072 U+0074 U+0020 U+0026 U+0020 U+0044 U+0065 GlyphFallbackFont[0] (quality=00517): "OpenSymbol" GlyphFallbackFont[1] (quality=00517): "IPAMincho" GlyphFallbackFont[2] (quality=00517): "Baekmuk Dotum" GlyphFallbackFont[3] (quality=00517): "Mangal" GlyphFallbackFont[4] (quality=00512): "Lucida Sans" GlyphFallback[lvl=1] "Luxi Sans" -> "OpenSymbol" (q=517) FTSF::FTSF("/localhome/qs01/staroffice8/SRC680m106.8918/share/fonts/truetype/opens___.ttf", h=150, w=0, sy=0) => 1 GlyphFallback[lvl=2] "Luxi Sans" -> "IPAMincho" (q=517) FTSF::FTSF("/localhome/qs01/.gnome2/share/fonts/ipam.ttf", h=150, w=0, sy=0) => 1 OutputDevice::SetFont( name="", h=0) SetFont(lvl=0,"Sans", 0*12, naa=0,b=5,i=0) => "Albany"
Very interesting! Thank you. n019003l.pfb is "Nimbus Sans L" and it supports all the characters (U+0041 U+0072 U+0074 U+0020 U+0026 U+0044 U+0065). GF should not be triggered...
Draw set the "vertical text" flag for the rotated text and psprint claimed it doesn't know anything about the vertical metrics of a Type1 font. The fix in CWS vcl39 emulates the vertical metrics from the horizontal metrics.
HDU->US: please verify in CWS vcl39. re-open issue and reassign to us@openoffice.org
reassign to us@openoffice.org
reset resolution to FIXED
Verified in cws.
