Hi, please update the staticised pages from lang/de as follows: lang/www/de/ index.html 1.29 lang/www/de/ about-downloads.html 1.48 lang/www/de/ about-cdrom.html 1.15 lang/www/de/ md5sums.txt 1.13 lang/www/de/ about-presskit.html 1.8 lang/www/de/ about-pressemitteilung1.html 1.1 lang/www/de/ about-presse-faq.html v1.2 How long is this workaround going to stay in place? Hi Louis, 1. index.html was updated allright, but the second one on the list (see above) was not updated. The others I havent't done myself so I wouldn't know on first sight. 2. That's three days and a half that the downloadpage has not been updated, while the CVS one contains links to the new PPC build. This is kind of frustrating. Please think of a way of letting uns update the static pages ourselves. Timon
Hi, I'll resubmit the issue. FWIW, all my thoughts are for nothing. We are moving to upgrading the SC system so that it can handle more of the traffic, and that will be first or second week of June. But until then... Timon, this sucks even more for me. But the site has been so heavily trafficked that there is little we can do. :( louis

We've got a new mirror, more via mirrors@, and we've had some minor changes, please update the staticised pages as follows: lang/www/de/ index.html 1.30 lang/www/de/ about-downloads.html 1.49 lang/www/de/ about-cdrom.html 1.16 2. There's a mysterious problem: Coming to lang/de via http://de.openoffice.org or http://lang.openoffice.org/de The links on the page don't work, the browsers seems to think they are on lang.openoffice.org/ (without the de) and the image in the middle of the page isn't displayed, clicking it leads to "The requested URL /local-access-only/lang/www/about-downloads.html was not found on this server.". When lang/de is acessed using "http://lang.openoffice.org/de/" (note the slash" the links work and the image is there. Do you have any idea what's going on? Do you want me to file this as a seperate issue? Greetings, Timon

I will also ask to see if the /de pages can be de-staticized. best Louis ps, with regard to the ending "/" which signifies .index.html (root), I have encountered this behavior before and think I know why. I can fix it in the redirect page by pointing it to: http:// lang.openoffice.org/de/, or even the redundant /de/index.html. best Louis
