Description fgassauer 2005-06-08 07:28:24 UTC
Hi!
Imported MS-Word documents of the size of ONE A4 page do not fit one ONE page
of OO 680m104 compiled on SUSE linux.

if opened as attachment from kmail the document is read only and the page
formating can't be changed

workaround: save the file and open it and adlust top/bottom margins until
document fits on one page.
Comment 1 fgassauer 2005-06-08 08:19:16 UTC
the situation on windows XP 680m104 is even worse, it seems that the linespacing
and/or linewrapping of lines with embedded images is that much bigger that it isn't
sufficient to adjust top and buttom margins to fit the document on ONE page.
may be there is also an issue with tab stops.
if necessary I can provide the document privately

To progress this issue I'm changing the Component from '*Testproduct'.

reassigning to correct owner

These are two different issues. Regarding the problem, that the document is
opened read-only from Mail client, please file a new issue for Component
"Framework".

Regarding the problem, that the content does not fit into the page like in MS
Word I would request you to attach a sample document. Please also make sure,
that the font used in the document is also installed on your system. Feel free
to reopen issue when you have attached the document.
Thanks for supporting us!
