Description drc 2005-06-14 21:16:42 UTC
Attached is OOo spreadsheet called logic, in native formay and as exported to Excel.

The purpose of the spreadsheet is to demonstrate the functioning of logic
circuits, so it has various gates, a crossover bridge, and connectors
programmed. It relies on a large number of iterations to equalise voltage
signals along the connectors.

It renders better in Excel but that is a different issue.

Looking at the grey line at the bottom right, it has a connected end labelled
Ground, and an open circuit end with a cell that simply reflects the right hand
end voltage back to satisfy the formula for the end connector element.

Change the value in T16 to 5. The modelled wire behaves properly in Excel,
going to 5 volts along its length. It does not behave properly in OOO calc.
See the screen shots.

I can confirm the behaviour with OOo1.9.104 on WinXP Home German. You can force
the cells to continue the calculation repeating ctrl-shift-F9, but the green
cells from "hold up" to "hold down" do not show the same values as in Excel. I
thought it is a duplicate of issue 44115, but that should be integrated in 104,
or not?

Hi Eike,

seems you have an Idea what's the root cause.
