Description Unknown 2002-05-21 16:20:49 UTC
Trying to access the configure dialog via the Tools->Configure menu crashes all modules which are
currently open. For example, I had a Writer open and a Calc open, accessed the Calc program and did
Tools->Configure, both Calc and Writer crashed.
Windows 2000, OpenOffice 1.0

Hi Jonathan,

I tried to reproduce your bug but with my installation it works
without any problem. Could you please give me some more information
about your system and OpenOffice installation?
- Which installation type do you use(FAT or network/workstation
installation)?
- Do you use OpenOffice with a different user account as the one who
made the installation?
- Which language do you use (system/OpenOffice)?
Every additional information you can provide to us would help to
reproduce/find this probem.

Windows 2000, NTFS filesystem.
Installed locally by Administrator.
Used by
Administrator.
English language.

Microsoft Office 2000 is also installed
on this system, as are about
25-30 other packages.

I cannot see any known problem with your system/installation and I am
not able to reproduce it. I will forward this bug to our QA for
further investigation.
Comment 6 thorsten.martens 2002-07-03 10:44:00 UTC
As Carsten already mentioned, this bug wasn`t reproducible when
running an Openoffice 1.0 or the latest internal version of the
upcoming OO 1.0.1 under Win2000.
