Description bulbul 2005-07-13 22:17:06 UTC
On creating a new database and clicking on "Create Form in Design View", a
window opened up whose top window decoration was all above the top of my screen.
I use KDE and have my dashboard (?) at the top. However, the new OOo window did
not just go under the dashboard. when i scrolled back the dashboard, the top
window decoration was not visible on the screen.

Oh, and what's worse is that little toolbox widget that comes up with the window
can only be dismissed from the top, since it doesn't have any frame around it.
So, it can't be moved and the only way to dismiss it is to close OOo.

Hi,

I can reproduce this problem with the toolbars, that they can placed under the
KDE Panel.

Set target to Office Later and reassign it to the developer.

msc->cd: Is there any possiblity to prevent that the toolbar can be placed
behind the KDE Panel.

Bye Marc

cd->pl: As you might have a better insight into KDE. Can you please give me some
more information about this issue?

pl->cd: you can move toolbars beneath the KDE taskbar like any other window
(just go try with e.g. a terminal window). That's not our turf.

Initial placement however should not be done outside the work area (which is
what you get by GetDesktopRectPixel()). I think at least in the case of toolbars
that concern your code ?
