While Hyperlinks assigned to text are corretly saved when exporting "writer"
documents to MS Word format, that is not so when the link is assigned to images:
it is lost when saving in MS Word format, you close and reopen the doc, you
still have the image, but the link assigned to it is gone.

I checked with 2.0 (1.9.m113) German version WIN XP: [680m113(Build8930)] and
can confirm the bug. I created a writer document with some text an a linke image
with assigned hyperlink to a webpage; I also assigned the same hyperlink to
webpage to a word in the text.

After I saved the document as '.doc' (WORD97/2000 XP) and repoened with WORD
- the hyperlink assigned to a word in the text for webpage was still there 
  (as expected)
- the hyperlink assigned to the image for webpage was lost 
  (unexpected, WORD supports that feature)
- the image now was embedded directly to the document without hyperlink 
  not unexpected because of issue 48131 and issue 29408

I checked with 1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)] and also saw the
reported problem.

@ scagni: can you please specify your OS?

MRU->FLR: a hyperlink on a graphic will not be stored in WW format.

This Issue requires more information ('needmoreinfo'), but has not been updated
within the last year. Please re-test with one of the latest versions of OOo -
the problem(s) may have already been addressed. Either use the recent stable
version: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html
or consider trying the new OOo 3 BETA (still in testing):
http://download.openoffice.org/3.0beta/

Please report back the outcome so this Issue may be closed or progressed as
necessary - otherwise it may be Resolved as Invalid in the future. You may also

I proceeded to check this bug as requested.
Unfortunately I found it to be still there in 2.4, and obtained exactly the same
result:
when you save a text document in MS word 97/xp format you loose all hyperlinks
assigned to images in your doc.
I could not think of any simple workaround. If you need interoperability of such
files without explaining to people that there is bug, you have to re-open the
file in MS Word itself and place the link for the images again there.
Thus IMHO this problem should be addressed.

No longer "needmoreinfo": the Italian QA mailing list confirmed the bug still
exists in recent (3.0.1) official versions on all operating systems.
