Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52259
Drop-down thesaurus?
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:41 UTC
In WordPerfect, at least for the last few versions, one can activate a feature whereby whatever word the cursor is on at the time appears in a little window in one of the toolbars. Next to this box is a pull-down menu button, which when activated shows all the synonyms of that particular word. This makes switching synonyms a cinch. I believe such a feature would be a great enhancement.
Reassigned to requirements.

This issue is in concurrency to issue 51258 that suggests to put a synonym list into the context menu. I think that doing both would be too much and I prefer the context menu. So if you don't mind I would like to close this issue in favor of issue 51258.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
