I click on Tools: Options...
I the get file tree in black on navy blue, though my KDE colours are yellow on
navy background.

"file tree" is a mistake: I meant "option tree".
In window "Styles and formatting", style names are also displayed in hard-coded
black.
This issue has possibly the same cause as a part of issue 52349 (icon text
colour hard-coded).
