Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52386
Some document windows refuse to close
Last modified: 2006-05-31 14:29:06 UTC
I was not able to reproduce this issue at will, but I have seen it happen 2-3 times in a few dozen hours using OOo Base, versions m113 and m118. During my work, I open and close various windows : tables, queries, and forms. At one point, one table or query window refuses to close. I try closing it by issuing a "close window" command from my windowmanager (that's what happens when you click on the "cross" button of your titlebar) or by clicking file->exit. From then on, I am still able to use that window. I am also able to use, create and close other windows. However, I can't close the main (.odb document) window. I have to issue a SIGTERM signal to the soffice process to kill it.
Hi johnix, How should we fix something that we can't reproduce? Of course the behaviour is bad, but the main question is _how_ does this happend. Do you have any step-by-step description how we can reproduce this? Bye Marc
Hi, no more info since some weeks. I close this issue now as INVALID. Feel free to reopen the issue, if you can provide more information how to reproduce this issue. Bye Marc
