Description henrikclausen 2005-07-26 12:00:19 UTC
A compatibility issue with an Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is supposed to
create a one month calendar based on a date to be entered in field B2. Calc
refuses to accept any format of date I enter, thus the calendar creation does
not work. Works fine in Excel. I'll enclose the spreadsheet next.

This is tested in build 100 and build 121.

Windows XP is English, but running with Danish locale settings - might be
contributing cause.

Editing the existing value (like changing the month from '07' to '08') of B2 is
not possible either. The error message in every case is: "The value entered is
invalid" (as translated from Danish).

Hi,

this is a double to Issue 26928.

To solve your problem, just switch off the validation settings under Data Validity.
