Description dsegan 2005-08-05 12:35:52 UTC
This is a Serbian translation for OpenOffice.org 2.0. The only thing that's not
translated yet is "helpcontent2" part (i.e. online help).

I've submitted JCA (copyright assignments agreements) for all translators who
have worked on it.
Comment 1 dsegan 2005-08-05 12:36:57 UTC
Another note: while I'd prefer this to be sr-CS, it can also be sr-YU.

I'll also provide Serbian Latin version in a minute on
http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/sr-CS@Latn.sdf.bz2
Comment 2 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-05 13:39:01 UTC
confirm
Comment 3 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-09 16:50:17 UTC
I will use sh-YU , see tools/source/intntl/isolang.cxx
Comment 4 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-09 16:58:53 UTC
Please use next time two issues for two gsi files! Its a bit confusing ....

sr-CS == http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/sr-CS.sdf.bz2  == Cyrillic
sh-YU == http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/sr-CS@Latn.sdf.bz2 == Latin

right ?
Comment 5 dsegan 2005-08-09 21:07:56 UTC
Yes, that's correct.

(And sorry for not filing two separate issues: they're mostly the same for me
since I generate the Latin one from sr-CS, and I looked at it from my own POV
instead of yours)
Comment 6 dsegan 2005-08-17 18:28:02 UTC
Any news on this? Have the papers arrived?
Comment 7 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-17 18:56:00 UTC
your translation will be imported into our translarion database , then exported
and merged into the cws oool10n20. After QA this cws will be (hopefully)
integrated. We are currently in stage "import into db" ...

Regarding your signed JCA , don't know, thats not my job.

I am still heavy optimistic that OOo 2.0 will be released in Serbian Cyrillic
 + Latin ;)
Comment 8 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-23 17:50:36 UTC
both files imported into db
Comment 9 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-08-24 15:38:09 UTC
linux test sh-YU: menus,gui ok, help en-US
linux test sr-CS: menus,gui ok, help en-US

Comment 13 prevod 2005-11-10 10:08:59 UTC
I have problem with Serbian version OpenOffice 2.0. I have download http://ftp.
linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/RC3/OOo_2.
0_windows_install_sr-CS.exe
and http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/2.0/OOo_2.
0_native_Win32Intel_langpacks/OOo_2.0_languagepack_windows_install_sh-YU.exe

OOo_2.0_windows_install_sr-CS.exe is not Cyrillic, it is partial Latin
translation (without menu, dialogs is translated), and
OOo_2.0_languagepack_windows_install_sh-YU.exe is not translation, it is all on
English.

As You can see here:
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=52943
agreement was:

sr-CS ==
http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/sr-CS.sdf.bz2  == Cyrillic

sh-YU == http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/sr-CS@Latn.sdf.bz2 == Latin
translation.

I'm not certain is there problem with Linux version.
Comment 14 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-11-10 19:23:33 UTC
Pavel, do you have a clue what is wrong with
http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/RC3/OOo_2.0_windows_install_sr-CS.exe

 ?

This build contains no Cyrillic translation, the m138 localize.sdf in officecfg
contains for example:

officecfg registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\Common.xcu 0 value
..Common.Menus.New.m0 Title 0 sr-CS ~Текстуални документ
    2002-02-02 02:02:02

What looks heavy Cyrillic to me :)

I guess that the provided sdf files have a different iso code, thus no sr-CS
strings are incorparated ( as you always remove localize.sdf before build )
Comment 15 pavel 2005-11-11 05:42:03 UTC
You're right - GSi is using sr code :-((
Comment 16 prevod 2005-11-14 01:17:04 UTC
Is there something that I should do to resolve this problem?

Also, I have make Serbian dictionary:
http://www.nasepismo.net:9080/preuzimanje/sr_CS.zip
I have modify DicOOo.sxw for installation (it is necessary to manually start
StartSR macro).
http://www.nasepismo.net:9080/preuzimanje/DicOOo.sxw

All seems fine with installation, but when restart OOo2 (this sr-CS version) in
dialog "Tools/Options/Language Settings/Writing Aids clicked "Edit..." even
exist ABC icon beside Serbian Cyrillic item in list box, but check box is not
there under "Spell check" and check don't works at all.

Is this same different iso code problem?

If I rename Serbian files in some other existing dictionary (like for Slovenian,
sl_SI.dic & sl_SI.aff) spell check works fine.

For correct Serbian installation should we provide updated 2.0.1 translation? Is
there quick way for this? Page http://sr.openoffice.org/ Serbians localization
project is outdated and owner was not included in OOo2 translation. Translation
was make Gnome translation group on http://prevod.org/

How we can help? Some links...
Comment 17 pavel 2005-11-14 05:15:14 UTC
Serbian GSI files should use the ISO code named below:

    # Serbian: sr-CS
    GetGSI sr-CS http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/GSI_sr-CS.sdf.bz2

    # Serbian: sh-YU
    GetGSI sh-YU http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/GSI_sh-YU.sdf.bz2

File new issue for Serbian dictionary - in component lingucomponent.

Please use mailing list dev@l10n for further questions.
Comment 18 ivo.hinkelmann 2005-11-14 17:29:20 UTC
hi prevod, for updated Serbian OOo 2.0.1 it is a bit late, we are unable to
integrate it in time. Please provide a update for OOo 2.0.2 which will
(hopefully) around end jan. / starting feb. 2006
Comment 19 prevod 2005-11-21 00:42:41 UTC
I did upload corrected Serbian files on:
    # Serbian: sr-CS
    GetGSI sr-CS http://www.nasepismo.net:9080/preuzimanje/GSI_sr-CS.sdf.bz2

    # Serbian: sh-YU
    GetGSI sh-YU http://www.nasepismo.net:9080/preuzimanje/GSI_sh-YU.sdf.bz2

I don't now when will be updated on: http://prevod.org/ftp/oo/
