Myspell dict for Swahili (sw-TZ)

The following link contains a Myspell dictionary for Swahili http://www.it46.se/downloads/openoffice/dictionary/dictionary_myspell_sw_TZ_1.1.tar.gz OpenOffice.org 2.0 has separated sw-TZ from sw-KE in the language selection boxes (locale) but the dictionary could be used for both. Mapped for both? Since the suggested patch for dictionary.lst only added the line DICT sw TZ sw_TZ I currently also mapped the dictionary only for sw-TZ. Please drop a note if it should be mapped for sw-KE as well.
it46 (aep) -> tl: What is the normal policy around this? For example for Spanish with different locales es_ES es_ar etc? Due to the very limited linguistic resources available to me in electronic format, the spellchecker is a compilation of a set of sources that include words for Kenya and Tanzania and probably other Swahili speaking areas. As the dictionary contains "swahili" words in general spoken in different regions, it should be mapped to both locales? But let me know what is the general policy around this issue. dictionary.lst +DICT sw sw KE sw_TZ I keep the issue RESOLVED FIXED though
Currently all other by default installed dictionaries are mapped only to one language. (I don't know about the downloadable dictionaries because I didn't check them out.) The are en-US and en-GB dictionaries because there are real differences but none is mapped for example against English-Eire or English-Jamaica. The same approach is used in SO, there is e.g. fr-FR but it is not mapped to one of it's country variants. Please make your choice if it should be mapped or not.
it46 -> tl: If I can make the choice, please DO map the Swahili (Kenya) locale to the sw_TZ.dic also. A second release of the dictionary should address this problem and also include a new and better .aff file. Thanks!

Please be aware of issue #53168#, that is by chance a text font is set that is not availabale on the system the glyphfallback may in some circumstance choose to replace that by a symbol font. If that happens spellchecking will not function at all since symbol fonts are excluded from spellchecking. Thus be sure to have a proper font set!
Thanks for the reminder. Swahili usess same fonts than english and hence has the same font substituion/fallbacks that english. VCL.xcu already includes those mechanisms for Swahili so things should work smoothly. See Issue #33998# for historical background.
SBA: Verified in CWS swahilidict.
SBA: OK in OOo 2.0. Still OK in OOo 2.02: Swahili (Kenya) and Swahili (Tanzania) are installed by default. Closed.
