Description mccuskk 2005-09-21 13:49:40 UTC
Importing word 2000 document into OpenOffice and then exporting as PDF used to
leave the table of contents as hyperlinks (up to version 1.9.118 at least).

This behaviour disappeared in OOo 2.0 beta (I think) and is still missing in 1.9.130
Comment 1 h.ilter 2005-09-22 10:27:34 UTC
Please provide a sample to evaluate.

Duplicated on WinXP SP2. OOo1.9.125
Works ok on OOo1.1.118.
Use attatched file as example.
Comment 4 h.ilter 2005-09-23 10:31:15 UTC
HI->MRU: It's not a PDF-, it's an import from ms doc-issue. Load bugdoc with
m118 keeps the hyperlinks. Seems to be broken since m119.
Comment 5 michael.ruess 2005-09-29 13:38:51 UTC
MRU->FLR: maybe this can be fixed together with issue 29139.

This is also a duplicate of issue
<http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=50982> (or that bug is a
duplicate of this one, either way).

That bug has attachments that may be useful: one sample where the hyperlinks in
the TOC work, and one sample that fails. That bug was marked WFM and closed.

Can that bug be linked to this one, or that bug reopened?

Comment 12 mstockman 2006-09-05 18:42:13 UTC
Since this bug is showing some signs of life (being assigned, and thank you for
doing so), I've re-attached the sample files I originally attached to bug 50982.
One file (the C# spec from Microsoft) shows the problem, and doesn't create
links in the TOC. One file (created by me, not too long ago) gets the links on
the TOC. I'm not sure what the difference is, but they should be useful for
tracking down the bug.

Thanks for looking at this... it's an important bug blocking my use of
OpenOffice.org in my workplace.

Comment 14 mstockman 2007-02-14 16:45:58 UTC
Is there any activity on this bug? Can it be marked for OOo 2.2 or 2.2.1 instead
of "OOo Later"?

Previously, I've attached an example to reproduce this bug as well as a document
that fails to reproduce it, so if there's something else people need to identify
and fix this, let me know. This feature has been broken for a long while and it
would be great to get it fixed.
Comment 15 mstockman 2007-09-19 14:38:25 UTC
Now that 2.3 is out, is there any chance this bug can be addressed? It's easily
reproducible, and interferes with my use of the PDF feature. I'm happy to help
test solutions or help reproduce the problem if anyone has difficulty (look at
the attached documents for examples).

Thanks.

Verifying that this bug still occurs in 3.0 beta. Anybody know how to get this
problem looked at?
Comment 17 Mathias_Bauer 2008-05-12 11:44:29 UTC
target 3.x
This issue will become a part of the project status review process so that it
won't fall into oblivion.
Comment 18 mstockman 2008-10-20 17:04:11 UTC
Verifying (in case anyone doubted) that this bug still occurs in 3.0 release.
Comment 19 mstockman 2009-01-21 14:25:40 UTC
Is there anything I can do to help move this bug along? It's easily
reproducible, sample documents that exhibit the bug are attached, and it was
introduced at a very definite time. Can someone possibly look at this for 3.1?
Comment 20 mstockman 2009-05-08 18:43:17 UTC
Confirming that this bug still occurs in 3.1 release.

To clean up the mess a bit: in the simple test documents the hyperlinks in the
TOC work in OOo and they also work in the created PDF.

In the csharp spec, the TOC does not have hyperlinks in OOo already.
Comment 23 Marcus 2017-05-20 11:15:16 UTC
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
