Description maxhq 2005-10-07 13:12:28 UTC
(guess Version "OOo 2.0" is the one that can be downloaded choosing "2.0 RC1"?!)

When creating a table of contents for a doc, a hyperlink (LS/LE) can be added
for each level. But choosing the format style of the hyperlink has no effect on
the table of contents when it's created. The style always remains "Internet
Link". (name taken from German version)

Reassigned to ES.
Comment 2 lohmaier 2005-10-08 17:25:17 UTC
if reproducible, this would be a regression from issue 21359

I cannot confirm on linux. Everything works as expected. Please attach a sample
document.

Sorry, I did not point out the problem correctly:
The formatting is set to "Internet Link" if you choose "None" in the style drop
down. But I want it just to have no special formatting. I know that I could
choose "Standard", but the point is that this behaviour is confusing in my eyes.
(It's also confusing that I can choose a formatting for the LE tag which has no
effect)

As described.

This issue contributes to the difficulty of creating hyperlinked PDFs. (See
also issue 44938.)

When generating TOC indices I want to use the "Index Link" character style so
that my index entries are not underlined.
Unfortunately everytime I update my index this setting has been forgotten! So I
have to right-click my index -> select Edit index/table. Here I click the
Entries tab, and for every level I want to include I must click the "LS" (Link
Start) and choose "Index Link" in the Character Style drop down list. And do
the same for the "LE" (Link End).
So it seems like this setting is reset to "<none>" in the Character Style list,
which I think is defaulting to "Internet Link" (normal hyperlink).
