The problem occurs when an Excel worksheet has a name like "Worksheet > 1".  
Creating a link to this worksheet works fine in Excel, but when opened in OO 
2.0 Calc, it fails, apparently because Calc changes the ">" to "_". I'll 
attach a sample .xls file.

I can confirm the link does not work on OOo 2.0.0 rc1, official Linux RPMS.
