Please confirm my SSH key
Last modified: 2005-11-18 02:24:58 UTC
I am attaching my public key. I need access to the Marketing Project CVS in order to update and maintain the Art Project files (marketing/www/art). Note that I was already given Content Developer role under the Marketing Project by the project lead. Thanks in advance Bernhard

Please upload Bernhard's SSH public key so that he can work on the web pages for the Art Project. Jacqueline

Sorry, I am not able to connect to tunnel@openoffice.org. I tried everything I can do with my computer: - disabled firewall of computer and router - esablished open ports on the router - tried cygwin on Win98SE and SuSE9.3 - copied the .ssh folder with the keys inside to any possible destination (C:\, C:\cygwin\home\Standard, D:\Eigene Dateien, /home/bedipp on Linux) - changed my computer's name from "mein Laptop" to "meinLaptop" to avoid possible problems with the space on Linux - disabled wLAN and connected per modem Every time I typed the SSH phrase I got the answer "tunnel@openoffice.org's password:" instead of the expected "Enter passphrase for key '/home/Standard/.ssh/id_dsa':" Support - could it be that there has been a problem while uploading my key? Or do you know another reason why I can't connect? Thanks in advance! Bernhard
Created attachment 30753 [details] if it may help: a screen shot of my first attempt to connect via Cygwin on Win98SE
reassigning to support
Accepting the issue, Will get back to you after verifying the key from the operations. Thanks, Kavitha-helpdesk
Hi, My task is to instruct Bernahd on the Art project management but we are still stuck at trying to establish a tunnel to the OOo site. In order to eliminate any possibility that it is the connection's fault, we tested connecting from another computer/connection from where I usually establish the tunnel using my keys. When using Bernhard's keys on the same computer/connection, we get two situations: 1. If the public key is present in the same folder with the private one, the website asks for tunnel@openoffice.org password. 2. If we remove the public key from the .ssh folder we are first asked for passphrase for the id_dsa key and after we enter it we are asked for tunnel@openoffice.org's password, no matter what we do. Bernhard is able to reproduce this from his connection and OS too like it happens from mine. Support, can you please investigate further ? We are in great need to access the Art project and update the pages. Thanks in advance, Cristian Driga
Have asked the operations to verify the key. We will get back to you soon at the earliest. Thanks, Kavitha-helpdesk
Support - just to let you know: I managed to establish the tunnel! Whatever you have done - it worked! Thanks Bernhard - I'll close the issue after trying to upload my first page (hopefully in a few days)
I was able to commit - so this issue is no longer needed. Would you please close it (or reassign it to me and I'll do it) Thanks for your help! Bernhard
