The current idl-reference on OOo ( e.g.
http://api.openoffice.org/docs/common/ref/com/sun/star/text/TextField.html ) and
in the html pages that come with the SDK don't contain the information since
when for example properties are available. Seems the "since" tag in the
idl-files isn't evaluated.
This can lead to confusion when one for example tries to use properties that
aren't present in the OOo version one uses.

You have probably test a wrong version, the currently online available version
shows a valid product release for the since tag and the version in the SDK as well.
