Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 58045
undo does not handle asian font properly
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:15 UTC
Steps to dupliate the problem: 1. open the attached file, undo_and_font.odp 2. move cursor to the right side of 'n' of the first line 3. press SHIFT and RIGHT to select 6 characters 4. press DEL and then press CTRL-Z The first Chinese character is not displayed correctly. However, the problem is fixed when the focus changes to another text box. The bug can be repeated on the second line. This time, "Thanks" losts its origianl font.

Hi, thanks for the bugdoc but the problem cnnot be reproduced at the moment. When you say "2. move cursor to the right side of 'n' of the first line" should the cursor be on the right side of the n of "Thanks"? But it would not make sense then select 6 characters for deleting....
Yes, it does not make sense. But it is useful to show the problem. You can select the whole line instead. The problem is the same. I have done more tests: 1. Both OOo(English) and OO(zh-TW) have the same problem 2. On Windows XP, the symptom is slightly different. Please refer the attached file
