Description Unknown 2002-06-15 10:21:01 UTC
When attempting to save a simple or complex document within Writer
as 'OpenOffice.org 1.0 Text Document' the progress bar at the bottom of writer
does it's thing slowly, then haults.
I get a message on the screen:
"An Unrecoverable error has occured.

All modified files have been saved and can
probably be recovered at program restart."

From the 'save-as' files types I've tried, all seem ok, except for the
OpenOffice, StarWriter, and Web Page 'save-as' types.

This installation of OpenOffice 1.0 is being run from a Network Installation
Point. The client installation method was 'Workstation Install'. No mapped
drives, but direct UNC paths. \\server\share\<file>
I get this problem with and without Administrative Rights to the share/files.
This issue is kinda similar to issue:5692.

However, the problems described up above do not occur if the client
installation was for a 'Local Install'. When a client has performed a 'Local
Install', the problem goes away.
