Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 58641
Envelope Adressee Does Not Print
Last modified: 2013-04-19 12:45:29 UTC
Insert an envelope of size "Env. 6" (I don't think the size matters) with an addressee and sender. The envelope looks correct in the preview, but only the sender prints.

radford: which printer do you use? which operating system? which envelope size (it does matter fotr technical reasons.. ;-)
I have an HP1012, but it shouldn't matter since the addressee is missing even in postscript when I print to a file (which I have already attached to this bug report). In particular it is also missing when the whole operation is performed on a machine that has no printer at all. I use Fedora Core 4 and openoffice.org-core-2.0.1-143.2.1. As I mentioned in my report, I told oo that it was for "Env. 6". No matter what size paper I printed on, the adressee never showed up anywhere.
I cannot reproduce this issue. I am using EPSON NX300 series printer and OS Win XP and Build OOo310m7. Both sender and Addressee prints.
I am still able to reproduce this bug using this version. openoffice.org-writer-core-3.0.1-15.3.fc10.x86_64 To reproduce, open the first attached odt file. http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/31916/envelope.odt Then print to file. If I choose pdf, the the output looks ok. If I choose ps, then the addressee is not visible in the file. I am currently using Fedora 10. Maybe it worked for you because you are using Windows and not Linux?
What about when you switch the page format to landscape and keep the values for width and height like it is in current portrait mode "Menu Format - Page - Page"
I opened the document and did: Print -> Properties -> Landscape and it still printed without the addressee. If that is not what you meant let me know. openoffice.org-writer-core-3.1.0-11.3.fc11.x86_64 I no longer have the option to print to a postscript file, but the printed version is still missing the addressee. As before exporting to PDF works as expected.
Both sender and addressee are printing in Rev. 1467605 using PrimoPDF.
