Description ftack 2005-12-10 11:04:33 UTC
In Impress (and likely in Draw as well) the colors of the Color bar are
sometimes not anymore displayed on the screen after editing an ole object. In
attachment, I included an Impress deocument with which I can very well reproduce
the issue on my system.

Steps to reproduce the problem

* Open the attached colorbarissue.odp
* Have the color toolbar opened. For me, it is docked at the bottom of the
screen, but it may also be floating. I attached a screenshot screen_before.jpg.
* Double click the equation object to open Math and leave it again. The Color
toolbar still displays OK
* Double-click the equation object again and leave it: now the colors of the
toolbar have disappeared. See screen_after.jpg

As long as the Impress window has focus, the toolbar colors are lost. However,
curiously, the colors are restored in the following way.

* Switch away from the affected Impress document window. Switch back,
double-click the OLE object and close it again: the colors are back.

This could be specific to Windows, so I marked this as Windows XP. I do not
exclude that this issue may happen on other OS'es as well.

Reproducible. Reassigned.
Comment 6 ftack 2009-02-09 16:50:28 UTC
This is working well on OOo 2.4.1 on Ubuntu Hardy, so perhaps this is another
issue that can be closed.
