Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 59315
in PPT presentation, some images are not shown
Last modified: 2006-04-06 13:18:56 UTC
When the attached PPT is imported, in presentation mode, many of the images are not shown (e.g. slides 3 to 6) whereas others are shown normally (e.g. slides 7 to 9). I could reproduce it with OOo 2.01 RC4 (Dutch) on SuSE Linux 10.0. The Windows build of same version does not have this problem.
Oops, the file is a bit bigger than the maximum size of 1 MB. Please download the file at http://www.xs4all.nl/~simonbr/Jeff_PPT2_OSOSS.ppt
Reproducible. At certain zoomstages (between 75%-115% approximately) the pictures are not shown, not even in the normal view.
in my version the images are rendered in the preview and slideshow all images are visible. In the edit view only the replacement bitmap is shown. Setting to 2.0.2 until we know what the problem is, sven please have a look.
sj->thb: In contrast to cl I do not have any problems on windows, but at some zoomstages I can reproduce it on linux, then bitmaps within metafiles are not drawn anymore.
Fixed in CWS vcl54. At the same time, changed target to 2.0.3 - the fix is too risky to have it in the soon-to-be-finished 2.0.1.
pl->thb: that fix (namely the limitation of (x,y) in ImplSetClipRegion breaks in LTR mode (e.g. try SAL_RTL_ENABLED). The right fix would probably be in salgdilayout.cxx UnionClipRegion after mirroring.
Sorry, false alert. The probelm does not come from that change, still searching for the real cause.
@wg: Fixed in CWS vcl54. Please verify. re-open issue and reassign to wg@openoffice.org
reassign to wg@openoffice.org
reset resolution to FIXED
Verified in CWS.
Tested in m162 and closed.
