Description gzornetzer 2006-01-18 16:50:13 UTC
Feature request: A way to customize the key presses and mouse clicks that
generate the forward slide and backward slide events during the slideshow.

I have a USB dongle that can trigger a center-button mousewheel roll up and roll
down mouse event (I think it's button 5 and 6 or something like that). It is
meant to be used for controlling presentation software, and causes MS powerpoint
to advance slides during a slideshow. I'd like to be able to change the
mouse/keyboard event bindings for the slideshow to allow the usb dongle to work.

Current behavior: mousewheel events do nothing during a presentation, and the
slide forward and slide backward events in the slideshow seem to be hardwired to
only certain keys and mouse events.
