The back ground and text fount colors are the same make so that when you hold 
the mouse over a hot spot on the tool bar you get just a blue box instead of 
the tip on what that button does.

I can find now way of changing the colors and this is a new install of open 
office, does anyone have any ideals on how to fix this

CP->SSA: color of the tooltip window ? Do you have an idea about that ?

Assuming you're using Windows, just enter your display properties 
and go to the appearance page. Here you can select the window color 
and the text color of the tool tip window. We're reading those 
settings immediately when you change it, so you can easily find a 
combination that suits your needs. If you select a default windows 
color scheme, everything should be fine.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for
details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
