Description asifhisam 2006-02-18 06:27:00 UTC
Any glyph in Arabic/Urdu font, which is specified as mark in opentype tables, do
not appear when it occurs at the end of line for the justified text. These
glyphs include arabic/urdu diacritical marks (ie, U+064B - U+0652, etc).

Attached image shows that glyph U+0650 (ie, ARABIC KASRA) does not appear at end
of first line. Correct & incorrect rendering are highlighted in the image.

Comment 5 haleem 2007-02-02 16:33:27 UTC
I tried to recreate this in WinXP, using build oo 2.0.3. It seems this
problem is non-reproducible. I used a computer configured with arabic
language.

1) Open a new text file and directly type in the words.
2) Copy paste it to fill lines.
I will attach the screenshot of a file I tested this on.

However, when I open an existing arabic file (of *.doc format), and then open
it in ooffice, it does not align it properly. ANd upon typing in extra words,
it starts to crumble up the words, preventing it from being readible. (I will
attach a screenshot and sample file that I used to recreate this problem).

To recreate the defect I listed,
1) Open the attached file above in ooffice.
2) Type into it anywhere

The words start to jargon together.

Thanks for the detailed report and the excellent attached files.

@HB: since the problem cannot be reproduced when creating a new document it
seems to be in the *.doc import.

I have no idea why I got this.
Comment 12 michael.ruess 2008-05-14 14:14:53 UTC
..this should also have been reassigned to hbrinkm, not hb.
Comment 13 Marcus 2017-05-20 11:31:26 UTC
