Spacing of differential in formula editor
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:38:52 UTC
It seems impossible to avoid the space between the d and the variable of a differential term if the variable is more than just an ascii letter e.g. "dx" looks right but "d %alpha" or "d vec s" don't
This could only be achieved by lowering the spacing in Format.Spacings. But only partly, because there's no kerning supported for Greek letters. We need a way to have the samew distynce between symbols and western text letters. Reassigned to requirements.
I think the problem is that the "d" is not perceived as an operator-like object, but is simply a "d". Perhaps it would be better if there were an operator "d", similar to the operator "partial".
