Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62934
Custom animation: Apply a property to multiple objects
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:27 UTC
Currently, the user can select multiple objects in the "Custom animation" dialog, and then apply the same effect to them (by pressing the "Add" or "Change" button.) But he cannot apply the same property to all these objects in a similar way, although these properties are common for all kinds of effects. He has to select each object separately, and then click on the [...] button, and enter the values in the first tab. Then he has to change the tab and again enter another value, and then press OK. This tedious process can be avoided: The user should be able to select multiple objects and apply the property to all objects.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
A possible workaround in the meantime is to select the objects, group them, and then add the animation to the grouped object.
raindrops -> the4thchild: I'm afraid that's not a correct solution in most of the cases: If we group all the objects, all of them will appear AT ONCE; not in the sequence we want. The relative motion between different objects will also be lost.
Just an usability issue. It would be really good to have it fixed.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
