Last modified: 2007-01-12 11:13:28 UTC
When opening a contextual menu, then a submenu and clicking the escape button writer crashes.
WFM with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" @luc4, unfortunately your report is rather "fatless". Pls. read <http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html> carefully and try to contribute a more meaningful bug report. We need: - an attached test document - a detailed step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce the crash - details concerning your LINUX distribution - details concerning your OOo - is it an original OOo build or from an other (LINUX-) distributor?
Very sorry for the lack of informations. I try to give you more informations. - an attached test document No need for a test document. It is happening even when a new document is created and it is empty. - a detailed step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce the crash * Create a new document (I tried and this is happening with impress as well) * Open the contextual menu (I mean right click or left if left-handed on the document) * Open a submenu in that menu (any submenu for what I see here) * Then, with those menu on the screen, press escape button I tried on two similar systems and in both, pressing the escape button makes OOo crash. - details concerning your LINUX distribution I'm using Gentoo Linux 2005.0 - details concerning your OOo - is it an original OOo build or from an other (LINUX-) distributor? I'm using OOo 2.0.2 compiled from sources taken from Gentoo portage. I hope these informations are sufficient.
Reassigned to ES.
Can't reproduce on Windows 2k with 2.02
Can't reproduce with OOo 2.0.2 under Windows XP as well.
Reassigned
@ luc4: Maybe this dependes on the Gentoo sources of OOo. Please try a version that's distributed by OOo. If this issue happens only in Gentoo sources, please file an issue against Gentoo.
Not reproducible on Suse Linux 10
