the round-trip delay on mailing lists has increased from the previous 1-2
minutes to 5-10 minutes or occasionaly more since the Solaris migration.

It hit in 90 seconds for me (18:36:01 on Aug 21 was when I sent the
message) on two messages.  Can you re-confirm and produce examples? 
Could it have been the smtp or mta system on your side?  Is it
chronic?  How many messages have you tracked that this has occurred to?

I've the problem too, it's not a problem on Sanders client side. It
also occurs in the webview of mailing lists.
It's occurs not all the time.

I find this problem to be intermittent, and not correlated with apparent activity.
it may be correlated, that is, with stuff i can't see.
perhaps check server load averages?

 We need more detail to work from to take this issue any further.
Action Plan 
 Closing issue as "worksforme" until more information can be provided.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved
<wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for
details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
