Please ensure, that files/directories removed on sf1 are also deleted on ny1.

I have requested these same directories and files be removed from ny1.

The directories are now removed from ny1.

As files reappeared on sf1 they are also back on ny1.

sf1 and ny1 are in sync now. resolving as fixed.
Let's see how this works out during the next removal operations.
