Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 65305
actualization of font/font size bad
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Open sample.odt and put the cursor at the left. Push Shift+RightArrow to mark "DejaVuSans". Font and Font Size are displayed correctly in the toolbar. Push another time Shift+RightArrow to mark also the first letter of "DejaVuSerif": font and font size are blank now. Push now Shift+LeftArrow. Font and font size should display now, but they don't. (After Shift+LeftArrow and Shift+RightArrow, they get dislayed however.)

>> When the selection reflects diffrent formattings, >> then th listbox are blank, yes! It's called a "three-state". Sorry, but that's not the point at all ;-) I'll try to describe it more detailed. 1.) Mark "DejaVuSans". (Put the cursor at the left. Push Shift+RightArrow until the word is marked. Please mark it really this way to reproduce the error - not with the mouse.) DejaVu Sans / 12 is displayed. This is correct. 2.) Mark now also the first character of "DejaVuSerif". (Push another time Shift+RightArrow.) Now the font and the font size field are blank. This is also correct. 3.) Push now Shift+LeftArrow. This unselects the first character of "DejaVuSerif". So, the selection is now exactly the same as in step 1 and contains only characters in DejaVu Sans / 12 and this should also get displayed like in step 1. Nevertheless OOo stays in "three-state", and this in not correct at all. (see screenshot.png) Please have a look. PS: 4.) After another Shift+LeftArrow, OOo leaves "three-state" and displays the information. When you now make Shift+RightArrow, you have another time the same selection as in step 3 and step 1. This time, information is displayed correctly.

ES->FME: a small UI difference depending on when the formatting starts and ends. Can we fix this?
