Description hans_werner67 2006-05-12 12:25:38 UTC
Formatting behavior of email adresses is different if input comes by keyboard or
by clipboard.

Testcase
1. Type 'bla@ooo.org' directly in a cell, it works well.
2. Copy 'bla@ooo.org' into the clipboard and paste it in an empty cell. Doesn't
work.

In my eyes more a DEFECT then an ENHANCEMENT

Bye the way, found in version m169 not m167, but there is currently no m169.

Typed the E-Mail address into the cell and it converted to a link. Copied the
cell and pasted it into an empty cell and got a link. Made this link to text and
copied this cell into the clipboard. Pasted it into a new cell. As expected the
cell is filled with a text. IMHO this is correct behaviour as I've copied a
whole cell into the clipboard and so I've pasted a whole cell. A conversion to a
link is not what I want. If I copy the text directly from an edit cell and
paste it to a new cell the text isn't converted to a link as the edit engine
never was used on this cell. This may be the only thing that could be changed
but IMHO it's not necessary.
