Description stephenmurphy 2006-05-24 21:52:26 UTC
Using the attached database, look at the design of the report. Note that all
of the fields in the report are vertically aligned to the top of the cell.
Run the report. Note that the numerical and date fields are aligned to the
bottom of the cell.

1. Using the report wizard create a new report for a table that contains
numerical and/or date fields. It will help if one of the fields in the
database is a text field with a lot of text in. This will expand the cells
vertically in the final report and illustrate the problem clearly. The
attached database is designed with this in mind.
2. When you get to the final tab on the wizard, choose to edit the design of
the report.
3. Select all of the fields in the report and choose to align them all to the
top of the table cells using the table vertical alignment tool (right click on
selected cells - go to Cell -> Top)
4. Note that in edit mode, all the fields are now vertically aligned to the
top of the cell. Save the report
5. Run the report. Note that the any numerical or date fields are not aligned
to the top of the cell.

As discussed with fme this problem may be related to issue 55923 (Alignment of
numbers not saved in reports)

Cannot be fixed until code freeze. Adjust target to 3.x.
