Description zirneklitis 2006-05-30 10:44:34 UTC
No custom animation is imported from the attached file created by PowerPoint
2000. An interesting fact is that this file is opened and presented correctly by
OOo 1.1.5.

I can reproduce the bug.
Please have a look.

sj: it seems that we are having problems with old ppt97 animations. A workaround
is to save the document again in ppt2000, then it can be loaded in OOo without
problems.
Comment 6 zirneklitis 2006-08-24 10:56:26 UTC
sj's workaround works only in case You HAVE PowerPoint 2k or higher. Not for
Linux users.
Comment 7 clytie 2007-01-11 11:39:48 UTC
My user reports this problem persists in OpenOffice.org 2.1 RC2 (Vietnamese). Do we have a fix yet?

He says when opening a PPT 97 file, then editing it and saving as PPT 2003, the animations no longer
work. Also, the output file is quite a bit larger than the input file. He has supplied the attached output
file.
