Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 65931
double-clicking formula elements fails to select %-character and quotation marks
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:54:45 UTC
hi, - please open the attached formula - double-click the word "Test": The word "Test" becomes selected in the Commands-window. - double-click the omega-character: only "OMEGA" is selected, but "%OMEGA" should be selected. Intersting is the fact that a single %-character is handled as very small invisible charcter within the rendered formula, that can be selected. This is shown in the attached screenshot; it's the "line" between the dot and the "d". Special characters that are described with a %-character should be handled as one solid character. This means that a double-click on special character within the rendered formula should also select the %-character.

MRU->TL: when selecting a character from the symbol sets in the formula, the whole string including the % sign should be selected in the command window.
Both bugs also happen with quotation marks: Please have a look at the attached file issue_65931.odg.

I see the error in OOo3.2, but no longer in OOo3.3RC8 and DEV300m95.
