Comment 3 gerdl 2006-06-14 15:14:31 UTC
workaround with export to pdf, no defect printing the exported pdf
Comment 4 h.ilter 2006-07-10 16:12:11 UTC
HI->PL: We never get the same result in each settings like the pdf-workaround.
I've tested various possibilities like. Portrait in duplex long & short edge
Landscape with duplex long & short edge.

I have tested the attached file and a pdf-file (generated with 2.0.3) on WinXP with
printer: Samsung CLP-500, setting: paper portrait, binding on long side
Adobe Reader 7.0.8, setting "automatically turn and centre" (german "Automatisch
drehen und zentrieren")
pdf-file printing out of Adobe Reader and odt-file printing out of OOo are
identical. This are the position of the headings:
page 1 short margin top, page 2 long margin outer, page 3-5 short margin top,
page 6 long margin outer, page 7 long margin inner, page 8 long margin outer,
page 9-13 short margin top.
That seems correct to me.

I confirm regina and found out it depends on printer driver. But the question
is, why it works with the pdf application when OOo fails.
