- open the attached database document
- open the graphical query designer to create a new query
- in the "Add Tables" dialog, double-click the one table therein to add it to the
  query designer
- in the table window which has been added to the designer, double-click
  the entry "*" to add it to the query
- from the context menu of the table window, select "Delete"
=> the process is terminated with an STL assertion

this is fixed in the current master. The current master is available at
