Reassigned.

Confirmed with 2.0.3 (680m173 9040), WinXP.

Rectangle with transparency set exports to .ppt ok.
However, when setting a gradient and transparency, both are lost in the exported
.ppt file.

Regards,
Andrew

This is a missing feature in PowerPoint.
PowerPoint don't support transparency with gradient.
Comment 5 jlcheng 2006-07-07 10:48:51 UTC
Yes, ppt not support transparency with gradient. But I have an idea, if can set
ppt transparency value is better. I want: save the rectangle and no transparency
with gradient, but the rectangle have transparency(bugdoc is 45%). And do you
think so?

I now test to reopen and give you a test ppt file.

Please tell me which PPT do you use.
I tested it with PPT 2000 and the transparency has gone.
But when I load your doc in PPT xp the transparency is ok.
Comment 8 jlcheng 2006-07-07 11:10:41 UTC
Sorry. I only tell you, I want to the exported ppt file like the file
TransparencyOfShadow_better.ppt. And now in fact, OOo 2.0.3 can not export the
file like TransparencyOfShadow_better.ppt. TransparencyOfShadow_better.ppt is
modified by me use MS PPT 2003.
