Description Regina Henschel 2006-07-24 23:08:14 UTC
Take a Draw document and draw a rectangle custom shape.
Extrude it.
Increase the extrusion depth. Nothing happens.
Change the extrusion color from automatic to a custom one. The figur breaks in
two parts.

Same is OK in 2.0.3.
Comment 1 Regina Henschel 2006-07-24 23:24:22 UTC
Made a restart an tried again. Now it works. But if you activate the shape and
then click on OK in the old way dialog "3D Effects", then custom shape is broken
again. The old dialog should not be aktive on a custom shape extrusion.

Do you increase the depth via the 3d-settings toolbar?
Do you really used a custom shape rectangle because in this case I wonder how
you opened the old 3d dialog....?
Can you attach ascreenshot, please? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I used that dialogs and objects as described. I will attach a three-side
Draw-document with details.

You wrote "I have opened the “3D Effects” toolbar with the Icon in the
Standard-toolbar." There is none in the default.
The problem is reproducible.

You can switch it on with "Visible Buttons".

Yes, the 3d-effects dialog needs to be deactivated for custom shapes.
