Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 69861
XBookmarkInsertTool never implemented
Last modified: 2013-02-24 21:08:19 UTC
As far as I can see, the XBookmarkInsertTool is never implemented. People can be fooled to think that it should be possible to use this function. Until it is implemented, it should be removed from the documentation I chose Priority P3 as I consider the IDL documentation for part of the spesification.
added myself to cc list
Sorry, but that isn't a bug. Interfaces are valid even if they aren't implemented in OOo. And if an interface is part of the API it also must be documented. Moreover, as this is a published interface removing it would be incompatible and thus forbidden. BTW: some interfaces are even only there to become implemented by external components, not by any OOo code.
Could the fackt that it's not inplemented be documented?
This doesn't make sense as this information is expected to change and so can be outdated permanently. And of course it does never make sense in the IDL documentation. Sorry, but I don't see a useful way to deal with information like that.
changed component myself since G. Roderick Singleton wrote: > On Tue, 2006-09-26 at 10:31 +0200, Stephan Wunderlich wrote: >> Hi Knut, >> >> > Ok, thanx. I'll make shure to file issues. Perhaps the component on the issues is wrong. I will take care that the issues get the right assignments. Best regards, Mathias did not
Well, as this issue was rejected anyway we didn't need to reassign it. :-) By I forgot to close it, sorry.
