Description knobo 2006-09-26 08:22:57 UTC
As far as I can see, the XBookmarkInsertTool is never implemented. People can be
fooled to think that it should be possible to use this function. Until it is
implemented, it should be removed from the documentation

I chose Priority P3 as I consider the IDL documentation for part of the
spesification.

Sorry, but that isn't a bug. Interfaces are valid even if they aren't
implemented in OOo. And if an interface is part of the API it also must be
documented. Moreover, as this is a published interface removing it would be
incompatible and thus forbidden.

BTW: some interfaces are even only there to become implemented by external
components, not by any OOo code.

Could the fackt that it's not inplemented be documented?
Comment 4 Mathias_Bauer 2006-09-28 11:47:42 UTC
This doesn't make sense as this information is expected to change and so can be
outdated permanently. And of course it does never make sense in the IDL
documentation.

Sorry, but I don't see a useful way to deal with information like that.

I will take care that the issues get the right assignments.

Best regards,

Well, as this issue was rejected anyway we didn't need to reassign it. :-)
By I forgot to close it, sorry.
